Fee Proration for Students Enrolled in Shorter than Average Terms

Program Purpose

The purpose of this program is to be an optional program providing for reduced fees for students based on the length of the semester.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Enrolled in Texas public colleges or universities which have elected to offer this program, and
  • Enrolled in shorter than average terms.

Eligible Institutions

Available only for use at a Texas public college or university.

Award Amount

If the college's governing board opts to offer this program, the program provides for a reduction or proration of mandatory or discretionary fees charged based on the length of the semester or term for which a student is enrolled.
