Program Purpose
To increase the average semester credit hour course load of students enrolled at Texas public colleges or universities.

Eligibility Requirements
Students who:
- Are enrolled in and making satisfactory progress toward completion of a degree program offered by a Texas public college or university, and
- Enroll in at least 15 semester credit hours at the institution during the semester or term for which the reduction is offered.
Eligible Institutions
Available only for use at a Texas public college or university.

The governing board of the college determines whether the institution will offer such a reduction. The governing board is not required to offer a tuition reduction to all institutions of higher education under its governance or to all degree programs offered at an institution of higher education under its governance.
Award Amount
Possible reduced tuition.
