Program Purpose

The purpose of this program is to be an optional exemption from fees associated with activities, services or facilities students cannot reasonably use.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Are enrolled in Texas public colleges or universities which have elected to offer this program and
  • Are being charged fees for activities, services or fees they cannot reasonably use.

If the college's governing board opts to offer this program, the program provides for an exemption from mandatory or discretionary fees, other than tuition and lab fees, for the specific activity, service or facility.

Eligible Institutions

Available only for use at a Texas public college or university.
